Footballers star in re-enactment of Last Supper



Footballers and singer starring
Two international footballers and an X-Factor finalist will star in a professionally produced re-enactment of Da Vinci’s painting The Last Supper,in Sydney this morning, to celebrate the DVD release of the TV series The Bible.The re-enactment, produced by 20th Century Fox, will take place First Fleet Park, in The Rocks area of Sydney.X Factor 2013 finalist & devout Christian, Barry Southgate will assume the role of Jesus, while international Rugby League stars (and brothers), Jason & Paul Stevens (also ex-Sharks pastor) will play Biblical brothers, James & John.Remaining disciples will be portrayed by professional, ‘human statues’.
