KEEN for a Friday night drink? Why not make it a Duff? The iconic cartoon beer brand is coming to Australia and now you can grab a frosty one at the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel tonight, for seven nights, ahead of Duff being available in Dan Murphys and BWS stores from May 28. In the past Duff has been available through imitations, including brewing giant Lion Nathan’s unauthorised attempt in the mid 90s. In 1996, Fox successfully took the South Australian brewer to the Federal Court to stop the sale. Cans of the Lion Nathan Duff are now considered collectors items and sell for hundreds of dollars. This, however, is the first official Duff Beer from the people who created the Duff brand. So if you can’t get enough of that wonderful Duff, make your way down to Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel tonight.
